The Draft Disability Action Plan 2020 – 2024 outlines Council’s priorities for action, grouped across four key goal areas, defined as part of our responsibility under the Victorian Disability Act 2006.

The four Key Goal Areas are:

  1. Reducing barriers to people with a disability accessing Council goods, services and facilities
  2. Reducing barriers to people with a disability obtaining and maintaining employment
  3. Promoting inclusion and participation in the community
  4. Achieving tangible changes in attitude and practices that discriminate against people with a disability


Feedback on the draft plan is now closed.

We will use the feedback received to help us prepare the Disability Action Plan.
