Tell us what matters most to you when selecting a kindergarten
Nillumbik Shire Council supports community-run organisations in delivering kindergarten programs.
This includes providing facilities for 15 community sessional kindergartens and 5 early learning centres that offer integrated programs.
The Victorian Government has recently introduced free kindergarten and funded three year old kindergarten and over the next 10 years will increase the hours that four year olds will attend kindergarten from 15 to 30 hours per week by 2036.
We’re seeking your input to help support our advocacy efforts and shape future planning, including the review of the Preschool Central Registration Priority of Access policy and updating of the Department of Education’s Kindergarten and Infrastructure Services Plan (KISP).

What is a KISP?
KISPs are plans that help with the future planning of kindergarten services. They provide a state-wide view of kindergarten supply and demand as the system undergoes reform.

3. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
By entering this competition, you agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions of entry.
4. WHO CAN ENTER?
Entry is open to people who live, work, or study in Nillumbik Shire Council. Employees and Councillors of Nillumbik Shire Council and their family members are excluded.
5. HOW TO ENTER
To be eligible to enter the competition, each entrant must complete the survey. Only one (1) entry is permitted per person.
6. COMPETITION DATES
The promotion commences on 11 November, 2024 and closes at 11:59PM (AEDST) on 1 December, 2024 (“Promotional Period”).
7. THE PRIZE
Entrants who complete the survey will go in the draw to win a three month membership voucher for Aligned Leisure and be used at Eltham Leisure Centre, Diamond Valley Sports and Fitness Centre, Diamond Valley Sports and Fitness Centre, Community Bank Stadium, Diamond Creek Outdoor Pool, and Hurstbridge Basketball Stadium. Please note that the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any component of the Prize for a component of equal value at the Promoter’s sole discretion.
8. CONTACTING PRIZE WINNER
The winners will be selected at random on 3 December, 2024 and will be contacted via email or phone on the same day. The winner will have two weeks to claim their prize. If we can’t reach the winner a replacement winner will be chosen.
9. USE OF PRIZE
The membership is not transferable for cash, non-refundable and lost vouchers cannot be redeemed or replaced.
