The Planning Services Department plays an integral role in coordinating land use and development assessment across the Shire to achieve Council’s long-term planning and environmental objectives and its vision to be Australia’s most liveable Shire.
The three core services of the Planning Department are:
- statutory planning approvals
- subdivisions
- and planning investigations
To ensure the services provided by the Planning Department are relevant, of quality and meet the needs of its customers now and in the future, the service area is undergoing a review so it can improve its overall service and meet customer needs.
The community was invited to provide their feedback via a survey. This feedback will be used to inform service recommendations made to Council.
We will report back to the community on the feedback we received in the coming months.
