The current lighting at the Plenty War Memorial Oval does not meet current requirements for games to be played at night.
Upgrading the lighting will allow for safer training conditions and for night games to be played, catering for increased participation.
Council is seeking $228,000 funding under the Local Sports Infrastructure Fund through Sport and Recreation Victoria (SRV).
