Council manages its finances through an annual Budget that identifies the expected revenue and expenditure for each year.

The Budget is the means by which Council makes a formal commitment of resources to provide funding for services and projects.

In accordance with section 96 of the Local Government Act 2020, section 223 of the Local Government Act 1989 and the Local Government (Planning and Reporting) Regulations 2020, Nillumbik Shire Council has prepared a Draft Budget 2021-2022 (Draft Budget) for the financial year commencing 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022.
